My fabulous new ASS with Piezo came with chrome knobs - which looks great. BUT when mixing in the Piezo sound I wonder if it would be easier with the numbered Plastic variety.

Does anyone have pics of an ASS with THREE plastic knobs (ie Piezo)

Or if anyone can photoshop, that would be cool too.

Thanks in advance.

Personally I would keep the chrome knobs.
I replaced the strat type knobs on my axis as I wasnt too happy with the look.
Although when i got a push pull pot added it had to go, there was no grip on the knob, at least not without adding it myself. So that was my incentive to finally replace it. I think you will find the chrome knobs have better grip than the plastic ones.

I much prefer the idea of the Tele knobs, but I really use the numbers as a reference point. If you can live without numbers, I am sure they are a better option all round.

The only problem is that you would have to swap out the pots too. They are different on the piezo ASS and only fit the Tele type knobs.

Ahh, hadn't realised that. I thought it was comestic. I have found that when using the blended sound, it is quite hard to get the balance just right between mag and piezo. Thought it would be a matter of swapping knobs. Don't really fancy changing pots, not on a guitar so new.

Thanks all for the input - great photoshop stuff too millifoo - cheers!! :)

Awesome. You guys beat me to my own guitar. Mine came with Chrome knobs, but I like the cream/rosewood blend more, so I swapped them.
