Played a "Custom Made" Axis Hardtail w/piezo...some questions

The guitar felt great and sounded amazingly huge and clear. The piezo is something I wasn't looking for, but would be great and I could get some serious use out of, so that's just a sweet bonus.

What dos the "Custom Made" on the neck plate mean?

It might be a limited edition. What color was it? The BFR's and LE's have custom made neck plates.

Custom made, I believe, means it has a customer specified upgraded top.

Hey guys, yeah this Axis had a real nice quilt in trans amber. I wasn't sure what the "Custom Made" neck plate meant. Man she played and sounded exceptional!

Definitely means it has the upgraded top option... ie nicer figured maple on the body, and more birdseye on the neck. This was an option available on the Axis for a few years before the BFR's came along.

BFR's also have the custom made stamp too.
