Jason, you better let her know that you were just looking and had no intention to buy!!!! Hopefully everything worked out. Remind her that your selling one to get one, sometime this works unless you have a ton of gear, then you better run for the hills.

I had to up the pay off for her birthday on the 12th to "MAKE IT FAIR". ? I let her mother invade my home for 2 weeks and thats not enough? But I sold out, I admit. At least shes not asking for a bass herself, Id have to put her out to work...lol. The gold hardware does complement that nicely, although the bongos look nice in that too. I like the sound on those too, just the paited neck isnt exactly my thing but they are bad ass. I went back to gc for 4 hours today and played the plain pearl blue Sterling again, not one person there to bother me and plenty of half stacks to play with. "Yeah, these arent the most popular basses here", direct quote from the GC staff regarding the Sterling. I was like, thats good because I REALLY love turning on all your amps and BLASTING the hell out of the guitar players...LOL. I like the pearl blue finish with a pearlid guard and rosewood, sort of plain but appealing nontheless. Does anyone else notice a difference in how a bass sounds if the paint is a different color? Seems like there are slight tonal differences, but it could be me needing another drink.
