Hello, as a quick introduction to myself...i'm in high school and have been playing bass for about 8 or 9 years. Right now I play on a Skjold Custom 5 into a markbass little mark II and bergantino HT112 cabinet for the most part.

i've been an ernieball/MM customer and user for the past two years. i went through a stingray 4 and a bongo 5HH. i sold both to pay for my ultimate rig. now, i've accumulated some more $ through work and through the recent sale of my bongo and i'm looking to purchase a Stingray...i just miss the tone...so i either want (four stringers)

Blue Dawn, maple board, single H pickup

or

Carbon Blue, maple board, single H pickup

i'm not exactly sure where I should look for these basses, so i registered for EB forum and posted here. i have already scouted around n called some places but the carbon blue at some store in california was sold out, and the blue dawn on basscentral is a little too expensive...basically i'm looking to spend 1.5k $US max.

i appreciate any help, and thank you for your considerations

If you are in the US...which I think you are....PM PeteDuBaldo. He is one of our resident dealers and a stand up guy. I will vouche for Pete in a New York minute as I know him personally. He will take care of you. Guaranteed.

Welcome to the Addiction!

Sterling. I suggest the HS pickup setup because you can still get your standard H tones plus three more.

The Blue Dawn, as it is a Limited Edition finish, will naturally cost more. The price will probably go up next year.

Carbon Blue Pearl with White Ice, Maple Board (nice choice. I love maple). Don't match the headstock.

Welcome to the board. Nice to have you here and enjoy! And welcome back to Music Man!
