i have a person telling me a guitar with a zero reading on the pickup can work. i am saying no way espiecally 2 pickups from 2 different guitars. dont get caught up in who its about. i just say and have discussed with many that a pickup that reads zero cant be a 8 k pickup or any pickup. its zero, it dosent work, its nothing. am i wrong?

I think someone had a dead battery in their meter, tested a working pickup, got "zero" and figured that was the reading LOL

I think he is talking about that other guy that use to play EBMM... I think it is market hype about a pickup not putting out any sort of output. It has to be putting something out otherwise it isn't a pickup...

thats what i said larry. i am being told at another forum that a pickup can work and have a zero reading. i find this to be so wrong. i thought i would get some opinions from others.

I think it is wrong also. :) It would be like putting the reader on a table a table should give you continuity of zero, is the table a pickup. It might be the next brown sound :rolleyes:
