Here is another installment of my doings with a buddy of mine. Please be aware that some of you may find the content offensive. Please find the song at about the two minute mark into the podcast or where it switches to "Fine Man/Hotline 2". If you feel up to it, please listen to the whole podcast.
Podcast Three: Aggressively Stupid
Technical notes:
All of the bass parts were recorded in about two hours. I played to an acoustic guitar track, that I had never heard prior to that afternoon, and pretty much improvised my way through. All sounds, except vocals and electronic percussion are bass. Yes, heavily effected, sometimes looped, etc. He basically took my noodlings and turned them into workable tracks. The basic bass line is pretty straight forward in content and sound.
Bass: SR4 HH, Position 2, Bass centered, mids all the way up, treble rolled completely off, recorded DI. No effects were used during the recording, only in mixing.
