You guys at Ernie Ball Music Man have spoiled us so much already with all the new products announcements (the double neck BFR Silo, gold Silo and all those great guitars), and I sure don't want to come out as even more spoiled than I am already, but please please please pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase publish the new colors. :D

You guys rock, I love you.

I've been very anxious to see the new colors as well... I'm sure that as soon as they get photographed they will post pics of them. If anyone on here was at NAMM, what did the colors look like? Didn't BP mention some color changing finishes?

Yeah, that's a sick color! So is that white-ish silver in that thread with the Bongo and the AL posted by Dargin about a month ago I think.

You guys seriously do rock. I'm loving my JP6 more and more every day, and Graphite Pearl is such an amazing color. What other guitar company goes on their forum and gives people pics and info on upcoming releases, including while they're in development? That's right, none. I don't know, maybe some do, but Music Man is better haha. After playing some Ibbys at Guitar Center this weekend, I really started to appreciate my JP6 more, and somehow found myself playing better. NOTHING beats a Music Man neck!

I just restrung and cleaned my JP with some Wonder Wipes today, and it's looking great!

SPOILER WARNING BELOW, HIGHLIGHT IF INTERESTED

If you read the "What Color Is This?" thread on the bass side, Dan spoils it all for you guys... apparently it might be called "Brilliant Silver."

yellow?

If there was any kind of yellow color offered, especially in a JP, I might be able to convince my fiance that a second is needed...

Yellow is certainly cool. But I wonder if EBMM can do that pearl white colour found on Lexus cars. Y'know, that same metallic white where it's blueish purple at certain angles? Would be stunning for sure...

i agree whitestrat, that would be a killer color! maybe I should clarify my post...haha.

I dont mean yellow, like desert gold. More of a canary yellow; not something as bright as desert gold, but more actual yellow.

for those of you that don't venture to the chubby string forum, you're missing out!!! Here's a link of some more of the NEW goodness.

Also, here's what BP had to say:

OK Thanks for the compliments.....it is great to have dropped the weight.....A new man! Im over 50 pounds down. 1,500 calories a day. A buddy sells the stuff that the doctors sell you for a medically supervised weight loss and I get the stuff from him...

OK the Stingray is a new color called Olive Green It is kind of a mist/sparkle with black and dark green small flakes....Nice bass.

Now for the news. The Sterling 5 is just so unbelievable. It is like an organic Bongo...every sound is solid and fabulous. Very tight and natural sounding I really spent a ton of time on that regular sunburst 2h...I really think that it all works well and has come out better than when I commisioned it. I was doing some really bizarre stuff on it and playing harmonic chords and would d tune one of the notes while ringing for moving voices and got a little carried away. THis will make me play a five string. Case closed. I know the love for alnico but this ceramic machine is making me really happy. I may steal this one. It had my name on it....hehehehe This will be a big seller. Remember what I said about the big poppa singleH bongo...I say this is the way to get the sterling 5 2h all the way.

The green BFR is punchy and warm at the same time. Velvet power. really had a blast with it and the tone block just tightens everything up. The good thing about the sterling 5 takng off is that it has given the Sterling a new life. Makes me happy

The SLO GolD Roller is a rock machine. I found that it was really almost single coil bright with the controls dimed and the tone control was really usefull to dial it in and out. Made the guitar suprisingly versitile. I can't imagine this not getting some sales. It is a classic keeper.

NOw to the guitar of the day.....Hands down the Mahog bodied koa top luke with the ebony fretboard was teh ultimate luke. Tight punchy crispy and rock solid. I think the mahog works well and the ebony is superb. I played this for too long...I think that I drove everyone crazy Blackface Super Reverb Reverb on 2 and volume on 8......back the volume down for bell like resonance and dime it for great crunch. Whoever says that EMG's are sterile needs to play this guitar.

The Gold big al with the ivory pickup covers with the ivory pearl proto pickguard is a keeper. SPlendid guitar that would be a must have or me or maybe even my new desert island guitar

OK Im a fanboy. I was inspired today by the stuff. Great job mates in slo!
