Greg, I wouldn't have expected any other reaction. I did the same when I first looked at the pics! By way of explanation, we're a tribute band to hair bands from the 70's and 80's, so we do Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Poison, Van Halen, Warrant, Deep Purple, Queen etc.

It's a whole lotta fun, and the first time in my 25+ years of playing in bands that I've ever been in a tribute band, so I'm having great fun playing dress up!

Richard, I sold my Iceman a while back, which was my only pointy headstock bass, however I do have a very garish martini olive green EBMM Bongo that looks and sounds great and should fit right in. In fact, both Bongos have gone down a treat at rehearsals, with the big Bongo tone very handy against a Marshall stack, double kick drum, and Jon Lord-style keyboards.


Now ..... trivia quiz time. Hands on buzzers please.
