PLEK experiences

Isn't PLEK'ing by Gibson something they do to increase workmanship and quality of the guitars coming off the product line?

I'd say PLEK'ing is inherent in EBMM guitars.

Anyone had their MM PLEK'd? Thoughts/experiences good and bad please.

I haven't needed to Plek a MusicMan bass yet, but I have had 4-5 other basses done and every one was better afterwards. If you want no fret buzz and relatively low action it's a very worthwhile thing.

It's funny you bring this up because in the next week or so I am sending my Caprice to 13St Guitars to be converted to fretless and to compound the radius. They use a Plek machine...which wasn't a huge selling point for me but honestly it didn't hurt either. ;-)
