Hey...I just discovered your YouTube channel a couple of days ago and watched a few of your instructional vids. I didn't realize this was you until now. Very well done!! Thanks! :)

Okay, here is a quick one from me. I had been thinking about this little jam of mine and this thread inspired me to dig it out. This was recorded on a cassette 4-track ages ago. I seem to remember that I doubled both parts for a chorus effect. This was my old 3-band Stingray that I sold like an idiot. The picture below was from around the same era (1990 or so).

ps. stay where u are, nashville has been closed for remodeling.

Craig - I was in Nashville last night hopping honky tonks. Nashville was definitely open!
Tootsies was a blast, as usual. The 10pm band was outstanding. Alas, no EBMM gear that I could spot anywhere. Lots of 5-strings in use, though.

I have a few things to share:

A band I was in last year, an early version of our song railroad where the bass is easier to hear. SR5 HH through a PreSonus ADL600 Pre: Railroad by MingusBass | iCompositions - Music

Another tune from about five years ago that I played the Bongo 5 on: Everytime I Crawl Back To You by The Twelvemile Band | Song | Free Music, Listen Now

Finally, a few clips from my new band's first show, with BFR SR5 in hand:

Loving this thread! Some really good stuff going on out there.

Here's a couple of tracks that one of the guys on the skinny string side and I are working on (so 11 EB/MM strings total). The first is my SR5 HS direct through the Fusion...

Hey guys, I thought this would be a cool first post. I have recordings of 3 songs with my SUB 5 which are currently on my Myspace page. The first song is "Flyin' High". Both the bass line and lead line are the SUB. The second song, "Superstitious", is the SUB on the lead line with all the effects. "Groove in D" is also the SUB on the lead line with effects! I've had this bass almost 10 years now and what an awesome instrument is has been!! However, I do have a new one on the way to join it. Back in January I ordered a Stingray 5 HH in Pacific Blueburst W/Matching Headstock, Maple Board, and White Pearloid Pickguard. It's been a LONG wait, but I'm being as patient as I can...I'm being a patient!!! Oh well, I'm sure it will be soon!

Ok, so here ist some old piece of R'n'R with my old Stingray 4. I think we recorded that in 1998, but it might have been 1996, not sure:

Frankie G - I'm digging your groove. Very cool stuff.

I have tons of video but not sure how to post. Is there a photobucket equivalent? I don't have a YouTube account and dang if it's not hard just to find a user name that isn't already taken.

I do have mobile me through Apple. iMovie too. Anyone use these?
