Oh Mr. Bonds
its been 15 long years....
you've brought me a pennant
we've shared World Series tears....
I remember the days
when 40 steals were the NorM....
you are to baseball
what Ron Jeremy is to Porn.....
you step in the box
biceps ready to bulge.....
I hear the crack of that bat
and my smile begins to bulge...
the ball starts to sail
then a splash down...
and thats when they knew
this was your town...
but now we've reached a new era
thats yet to be defined...
but all of the glorious memories
won't be left behind...
15 years of baseball
thats meaningful and counts....
knowing that my Giants
were never counted out...
listening to Krukow
pump up the crowd...
another Barry homerun
he must be well endowed...
through needles and the clear
I always had your back...
but when your a member of the Halos
i'll curse your zitty back....
so one more whoo-rah
for my childhood hero
before the pin stripes go on
and I root for him zero!
