hi there. I own a EB musicman ray Sh 4 string. My lately issues is as all of you may know is that the the pole pickups at the A and D strings are a littlle bit raised compared to the E and G stringsin th single humbucker. Mine has the fact specification with the E about 4.7 mm and the g at 3.7 to 4 mm. but the problem is that both the A and D are about like 3 mm. And i dont know why but regardless of the strings and gauge i use i fell the E string always sonud kind of muddy and dull compared to all the strings. actually all of them "sings" but the E just doesnt sonud like i rellally like. so please¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ i need and advice of what kind i do. this is really me annoyng me a lot..... is there and issue about that slight difference betwwen the A and D string that leads to the E to sound dull???????? please advices me. thanks to everybody

Hi thanks. But actually ive donde that befor. but the point is that it moves the entire upper side of the pick up. so th lenght woulkd be practically the same. I was thinkking about that maybe could be the fretboard radius or something. Ive checked with this measure thing the distance between the fret at the e string at 8 fret while pressening the first or second fret and the last one and the measures is 0.4 to 0.5 mm. Is that the right amount of relief or its too straight??????? what is the right measure???? ( iknow EB says "a credir card" but i prefered to check that out in mm). Thanks in advice... or maybe just lowering the E string action?????
