as a long time trans green fan (and hopefully owner, if one ever pops up), I find this simply horrifying!

The funniest thing about this is the asking price.

I bet I know how it happened.

Owner drank a lot of beer while whanging away on his bass. Decided that bilious green was a Bad Idea and decided to Correct it.

Went out, got some sandpaper and more beer 'cause he was running low.

Sanded with manic energy while drinking more beer.

Got tired and decided to take a beer break.

Looked at handiwork, and said "ah, f*ck it."

Never got back to it.

It's sure a sad looking thing. Too bad, really - not many of us bought those in that finish back when it was available. Definitely a conversation-starter (especially with Sterling). That might be a good deal for parts or a restoration job at about half of what he thinks it's worth, but unless he drops that price, he's going to be looking at that poor bastard for the rest of his life.

Hell, maybe not even half of what he thinks it's worth.

Just went back to the pictures and noticed some of the pics have been removed. The one of the back is definitely missing!

I have never used ebay, wasn't sure what a BIN price was so I went back. Now I see it is the Buy It Now price, but I can't/won't get a sign in. What was the BIN?

BIN = $1399.99
AD, I don't think they used sandpaper, I think it was probably more like a wood chisel... :)
