OK So Im on the road with Anthony Kim and while he practices I go on adventures in the guitar world.

First off I went to the Guitar Center on North Central Parkway. Nice clean store and I was shocked as they recognized me.....there goes my super secret stealth spying! THey dont have a platinum room but a lot of basses and a coupla guitars buried in the wall. Really nice guys.

Now to the Farmers Branch store...

What I loved is that these guys were a store full of energetic, knowledgable, and excited
about the business. They had really clean guitars and the Platinum rookm was just fantastic. Our stuff was well represented and they are the only ones not behind glass so you can play them. Here are some shots of the guys there

OVerall I think the GC experience is getting much better and stores like Farmers Branch are really great examples.

Now since Jack lives in Dallas I should go visit him and get some purple room second hand winstons.....Yeah he lives in Dallas......Dallas is a big city. It took awhile to get there and even though I wanted to see the first hand what a Texas Pool Party looks like
I could only stay for a short time...It was a blast

Note to other visitors of the purple room...dont let Jack sit behind you just before the camera click........

Then I did AK business and AK's coach knows the owner of the Texas Rangers so we went to the ball game....Beautiful Ballpark Five stars.....fun game

Off to New York to do the Early Show on CBS and Watch the Golf Channel playing with the Pro's tomorrow night...It was a blast filming it

Sorry I missed you BP. I went to GC yesterday but it was the Arlington store. Wish I had known you were in the area though, I would love to have said hello. I can see the ballpark from my house so you were close.

Sounds like a great time. Do tell us more about the Today Show episode.

Nevermind, you answered just as I typed my question. I'll have to check out the Golf Channel for the first time in my life.

Awesome, looks like your having a good time. There guitar center is completely different from the one we have in El Paso. We only have one JP (not BFR) and it's behind the glass, a bongo, and an Axis.

Hope you keep having a blast

Cheers

I have been posting on the bass side about these stores, they are both nice but for lots of EBMM content the Farmers Branch one is where to go.

Tomorrow morning for the early show I may just be in the background but I am on the golf channel show tomorrow

Ok - the DVR is set for the Early Show. :D

So what about the Golf channel? Which show? I'm looking at the schedule for tomorrow night (Eastern Time), and I see:

6pm & 6:30pm - Canadian Tour: Chasing the Dream
7pm - FedExCup Playoffs Highlights
8pm - Top 10
8:30pm - Golf Central
9pm - FedExCup Playoffs Highlights
10pm - The Turn
10:30pm - Champions Tour Learning Center

I agree...we need a BP on TV sticky. ;)

BP,

When you're on the Golf Channel, don't forget the "Ernie Ball" T- shirt!!!

It's just what golf needs - a little punch, some distortion and lots of volume!!!

LOL

Texas is the greatest country in the entire world. Speaking of baseball, I was supposed to throw out the first pitch at the Brooklyn Cyclones game on friday in my clone armor, but it got rained out. :(

That's an awesome wall! The GC here has a few bases a JP7 BFR and a loaded JP.

Are you visiting any more Guitar Centers? :D
