Stray cat geographic orgins or post counts on the Fender forum dont let you slag other players here....Also get some new material....you have now mentioned the "mob" mentality and your post count on Fender on two threads and they are both hijacks.
Also why is John Mayer brought into this? If you want an intelligent discussion about John Mayer start a thread. We all have our favorites and I have been fortunate to spend time in studios with some of the greatest and most successful....From Keith Richards to John Mayer. Yes John Mayer.
We spent parts of two days and hours talking and playing and I came away impressed with his talent, ability and passion for the guitar and the never ending pursuit of tone.
Here is a tip...use the search function...there is more EVH here than most places. The threads about EVH usually end up really ugly. That's one reason why there is a little muzzle when they come up. Its just like the threads about why things cost more in Europe. We know where they are going to end up.
THis forum is for stuff we have made and currently make and until someone finally runs me off stuff we are going to make. Lets start with the fact that Eddie is twenty years in the past from when I started with him. Im thirteen days older than eddie and we are both going to be senior citizens this year. Lets just think of the Jethro Tull album...Living in the past. There are people who would have turned this into the EVH forum and posted the same stuff they post on the 50 other EVH forums... It's hysterical...I wouldnt have a forum if it was just for things 20 years ago or to still talk about the one that left instead of the ones that stayed.
I also take issue that the electric guitar started with Jimi Hendrix....but Im not going to argue with you that is your position. I think that you should go to the new york library and check out some of Jimi's infleunces.
