You really are looking good, Sterling.

Last time I saw Mr. Petrucci he had short hair.

New York is hard to be on a program....I refused to start on a scale but I was wearing 42 waist...actually trying to fit into 40's and now am in 34" waist......SOmewhere near 50 pounds I think....about 20 more to go.

BP - do you mind if I ask how you did it?

Do we need to start calling you Little Poppa?

Really, though, NY would be a great place for a bash. I had to play a gig Saturday night with a rehearsal at 5:30 or I would have been there for sure. Sorry to have missed it. :(

1500 calories a day and an emphasis on protein...

Wow....that's impressive. Congrats - you really do look good. Maybe someday I'll get there too. I'm where you WERE....and constantly fighting with my doc about the label of 'morbidly obese'. Seems to me that I'm just fat....those 500lb guys are morbidly obese! ;)

Mike you just have to commit.....the beauty is that once you start noticing a difference that commitment becomes an obsession. That is when it actually gets fun. I am never ever hungry on my program.

I got tired of being fat and knowing deep down inside that I could no longer do stuff because I had let myself go.

Bottom line just do it.

Wish I could have been there! Congrats to Ernie and Pete for scoring some sweet guitars. My BFR should be in soon enough. Maybe then i'll forget about that one-off Tobacco Burst!:rolleyes:

It's not a tobacco burst the finish on it is called vintage sunburst, maybe knowing that will ease your pain ;)

Sterling,

Thank you for hosting the session with JP! It was great to see you, Scott, and Brian again. Having had a JP clinic through my store I know what the GC guys went through to organize everything and shut it down for a few hours - kudos to them! The clinic was fantastic, and the goings-on between Sterling and JP were hilarious.

It was nice meeting Phil & Rich, and it was nice catching up with Rob & Josh again. I had a blast hanging out with Ernie, and those BFRs are simply stunning in person. I wish I could have spent more time chatting with all of you guys after the clinic but I had to rush back home to CT. My schedule this weekend was hectic and I somehow managed to function on 2-1/2 hours of sleep after my gig on Friday night.

Can't wait until the next one!

cool pix...makes me wish i lived closer to NY so i could have gone. :(

BP - i know it's been said before but congrats on the weight loss. my dad was actually classified as morbidly obese and i'm sure that was one of the main reasons he didn't make it to 60. i wish you continued success with your weight loss program!

Thanks, BP, for the pics. Man, congratulations and good job on the weight loss. I gotta do some of that myself. I probably need to drop a good 50 lbs. myself.
