Gremlin Green Sparkle....Nice. While a fan of Sparkles, I never was much of a fan of the AL's. Then I saw Pete's Blue Dawn in person, and played it. For some very odd reason, it just screamed Flash Gordon to me. Totally changed my opinion of these guitars. One day, I will own an AL Sparkle, and one day, I will plug it into the loudest amp I can find and just start ripping out Queens "Flash Gordon" theme...:D

So, Big Poppa, what amp is your favorite for plugging in the green sparkle AL? Anyone else care to speak up? What do you think is the best amp match for the AL?

Albert himself plays through a Music Man HD-130 or a Rivera or a Fender

I think it sounds great through my Marshall but even better via my Pod thro the Marshall.
It'll be interesting to hear what BP says.

I LOVE Sparkles and the EBMM Alert Lee is my favorite guitar ever made. I'm envious, I'm torutured. Awesome looking guitar!!!!

I need to get some pics of my Gold AL. Not a Sparkle but shiny with a neck insaenly full of birdseyes.

The first EBMM guitar that made me seriously drool was an Axis Sport (or Super Sport) in that exact finish.
