Gremlin Green Sparkle....Nice. While a fan of Sparkles, I never was much of a fan of the AL's. Then I saw Pete's Blue Dawn in person, and played it. For some very odd reason, it just screamed Flash Gordon to me. Totally changed my opinion of these guitars. One day, I will own an AL Sparkle, and one day, I will plug it into the loudest amp I can find and just start ripping out Queens "Flash Gordon" theme...

Albert himself plays through a Music Man HD-130 or a Rivera or a Fender

I think it sounds great through my Marshall but even better via my Pod thro the Marshall.
It'll be interesting to hear what BP says.

The first EBMM guitar that made me seriously drool was an Axis Sport (or Super Sport) in that exact finish.
