Hello,

I have just bought a brand new JP15 6 string guitar and while testing it, the piezo seems to be very quiet and having almost no output. There is a signal; I just have to crank the input gain on my Axe Fx and the volume of my monitors to almost max level to hear anything. I know this isn't how it is supposed to be. This isn't my first MM guitar as I also have a JP12-7 and a Majesty 7 and they do not have this issue. I am familiar with the controls. I have checked and adjusted the trim pots for the piezo on the back and have already tried a new 9V battery to no avail.

Anyone have any other clues? I'm having a sinking feeling that there is some sort of defect with the wiring and that I'll have to return it but I just wanted to check with other owners first. It's a great guitar otherwise so that depresses me even more. :(

Thanks.

Also, I have attached a photo of misaligned piezo trim pots from the back of the guitar. Don't know if that moved in transit or if it has to do with anything relevant but there it is. IMG_0395 (600x800).jpg

If you've changed the batter and adjusted the trim pots ... then I'd call or email customer service and ask their advice.
