Hey guys im looking for a good portable type tuner mainly for tuning my acoustic guitar.i normally tune it down a semitone in pitch to suit my voice when singing more so than anything else.

I was looking on E-bay today at the planet waves tuners as ive heard their stuff is good normally.

I have a boss tu2 tuner but it isnt good for tuning my semi acoustic guild guitar.

Any suggestions on agood tuner for my acoustic?

cheers;)

No, he was recommending the tu-12. It's a handheld tuner that's really nice. However, if you need it to be a pedal tuner that's a different story.

I had the boss tu-12H and can recommend this series. Excellent tuner!

I have something called the Intellitouch Tuner that clips to your headstock and was about $25.00

If you want portable, and don't want to spend the money on a Peterson, you can't really beat this...

I think I got mine for around US$10~15 :D

I have that as well. I like it a lot. I got mine free as part of a promotion when I bought a number of string sets a few years ago.
