Hello everyone -

I'm an EBMM newbie, and have been waiting many years for a maple fretboard on a Luke, and I finally have one. Fell in love with an Emerald at NAMM back in 2009, and finally picked up a PDN Neptune Blue this past week!

Too many nice pic's, but the camera really doesn't do the Neptune Blue color any justice on my new fave Luke III:-)

I'm just puzzled at how different the colors seem to be. The axis looks just "blue" while the Luke is "Neptune Blue". :) I hope my AL will have that nice turquoise colour in the center.

Thanks, guys. Yes, the finish has turquoise mixed in there, and boy, does the lighting in the room have an effect on the finish. A very nice color, indeed!

I've had a blue DiMarzio cliplock strap waiting, but I may not use it because the regular blue clashes somewhat with the Neptune blue. Hey, I may need to go for my old standard: Yngwie's leopard DiMarzio cliplock.
