eh its all music.. love it or hate it call it what you want.. its still music i am getting really tiard of all those damn catagories there are way to many to say the lease the used and thrice is rock.... down with catagories...

The used is mostly called Screamo, not really "post punk. I'd just say they are pop rock (pop meaning popular, not bubble gum sounding). Thrice is just riffy rock.

People who say "f*** labels" need to stop and think for a second. If someone asks you what kind of music you play, do you say "it's just music, man"?
If you say "we just play rock and roll", that can mean anywhere from Little Richard or AC/DC. Sub-genres are a GOOD THING.
People like to hear a word or two in place of a paragraph-long description of how a band sounds.
