My EVH is a really unique guitar and has just always had some mojo to it....just an all around great guitar with great tones and great playability. EB necks always seem to play smoothly and have a great feel, consistently.

Consistency is something you typically get with boutique gear, but EBMM seems to maintain great consistency along with excellent values; not many company's can give you that.

Every EBMM I seem to own or play has that "Mo Jo" to it. And thats rare for most guitars. I don't know how many other guitars I went thru first till I decided that Im always gonna need ta have a ball around. (actually I think the numbers somewhere around 80).

I had been contemplating buying an EBMM ever since JP left Ibanez (I had been a die-hard Ibanez player for over 20 years and since JP had been my favorite guitarist for quite some time I figured EBMM would be worth checking out). Without ever playing one first, I bought an EBMM JP6 from the bay about 2 1/2 years ago and have never looked back. I have since bought 2 JP6 BFR's and am thrilled every day that I did (Thanks Pete!). I always get asked at each gig about my guitars and am happy to spread the word about EBMM -- Although, at my last gig a couple weeks ago I did get asked if my JP6 BFR in Tobacco Burst was a Telecaster???!!:eek::eek:

Seriously though, my 3 EBMM JP6's have been the most enjoyable and playable guitars I have had in a very long time. But in addition to this, the way BP, EBMM and the members of this forum showed their outpouring of support for Rob, Belinda and Little Tom, I can honestly say I will be a customer of EBMM for life. You all rock!! I only wish I could have been there to also sign the guitar with the rest of you before it was sent to Rob. I don't know of any other company that would have gone so far above and beyond for one of their customers and this makes me more and more proud to play an instrument made by EBMM.

Constant innovation. Better engineering. The best playing necks ever.

Oh, and they are not afraid to try new things.

They are a very well made instrument, my 2001 JP6 is still rocking hard with only minimal maintenence, i find them a very comfortable and i guess "warm" guitar to play, i have Fenders, Gibson, Ibanez etc but i find coming back to the AXIS or JP because they just feel different.

Although they may be a mass produced instrument its pretty obvious they are managed well by people who genuinly love music and have appreciation for good (make that great :) ) craftsmanship

I think one of the major reasons for me is definately the excellent customer service. When you buy a guitar from them, it's not like they just dump you the guitar, and leave you hanging to sort out issues yourself. The entire company seems very cohesive, and everyone seems to enjoy their job, and it's like a huge family. When you buy one of their guitars, it's like the entire company is there ready to help you out if you have any problems. I've not experienced this with ANY other company. Many other brands rely on their agents to sort stuff out for you. I like the fact that I can go direct to EBMM, and get a problem sorted out. Twice it's happenned, and twice I've been served very well (thanks Nathan!) without complaints, or questions asked. This gives me MORE confidence to keep buying guitars from them.

Add all that up with killer guitar builds and playing comfort levels.

I wish they made 15w 6v6 amps... Hahahahha... Then I'd buy that one instead of my Fender Princeton Reverb, and not worry about service issues either!.
