A question I've often wondered, how many of the forum members here write and record your own songs? Maybe people could post links for us to listen too? Could you also list what EBMM product was used plus any other relevant info?

I do, but I rarely polish anything up. That said, I've got a new band together and we're just recording some stuff now, so I guess I'll have to post some links in the future.

i have some wanky clips here:

purevolume.com/theorangechannel

and I should be getting some material together in more of a band fashion under the moniker TheSignalBars...that's in my sig...I have a spacey segue that's going up there...I just need to re-edit it...

Colin,

I've got stuff all over the place..

my sig has links to my band's site, and also to my mixposure site.

Additionally, I have some stuff at myspace.

You'd be amazed at some of the talent around here.. Philip, savannah sean, tommy, OC, NorM, kbaim, and some other's I'm forgetting.. these guys write and play very well!

Here is an instrumental song I just finished up. No guitar solos on it yet but there are definitely gonna be a lot of them. I used a JP7 (fully loaded) for the rhythm tracks yesterday but had to use some other guitars for overdubs today cuz I had to send my jp into Jon for repairs - which is also why no solos yet. ;)

Anyhow, check it out:

Thanks,

Mark

P.S. - Do yourself a favor and crank that ---- up! :D

Edit: Drums are programmed by me as well just in case u are wondering. Keys - me, Bass - me

Here is a clip ... starts about halfway through the song ! Ennio Morricone flavored ... very corny !

http://www.3rdpole.net/Music/3p-Duel.mp3

L : Silo Spec -> Orange Rockerverb
R : Luke II -> Marshall JCM800
The bass is a MM Stingray 5 direct in the board.
I'm not doing the singing ! This is a rough pre-mix of a soon to be released album.

Slick !! I liked Pleasure Dome ... you got the F.U.C.K tone pretty nailed there!

Sub1,

The product: Drumkit From Hell Superior

Go here:
http://www.toontrack.com

They have a forum too. Excellent sample library! I program all my drums through Motu's Digital Performer 4.6 using ToonTracks sample library through their plugin and trigger all the sounds through my master keyboard - aka "finger drums". Very time consuming process but once you get a system down and learn how to play like a drummer it becomes much quicker! I'm getting a lot better with it but I still have a lot to learn as far as the "feel" of a drummer. Check their site out.

Wow! This forum definitely needs its own channel on EB Radio! Some really great stuff!

mooreguitars, that was a bombastic piece of prog! Great job!

Thirdpole, man! I friggin' loved the mood/style of that tune.. kinda evoked the music from the spaghetti westerns in my mind, for some reason. I'd love to hear the whole track sometime.

Sigmund and J_, great covers!

This has the making of a good thread. Remember the more info you can provide the better to help others to make better recordings of their EBMM.
