These are beee-autiful guitars, especially that Tobacco which seems a little more rare.

What's the deal with the black or cream pickups? I haven't seen that as an explicit option listed anywhere.

Thanks for the tipoff, I cant say that I have ever been in there!

Worth a look if you're ever in that area.

I remember a few us us grumbling about a lack of stock in UK dealers a few months back, and this shop certainly bucks that trend.

The boss is a guy named Geordie who is very friendly and enthusiastic about MM, as were the rest of the staff, all of whom were keen to chat about their MM's as I was doing the deal.

It's just a shame that they don't list their stock on their website. I think they're selling themselves short just linking to each manufacturers site when you click on a brand.

They certainly made me feel a lot more valued than some other guitar shops nearer London!

From what I understand, the cream pickups were a prototype things which was eventually side lined.

So unpopular that Steve happened to play one of those prototypes at Monsters of Rock. Saw it in Kerrang. Nearly made me weep that they weren't an option!

I got mine there too. The service was fantastic. I felt completely unpressured. It was a great day. Even though the local parking is a bag of ****

From memory EB could not source the color purple at the time. Here's some pic's of a few early ones. One without binding.

And one not shown or talked about that often.

W/o the binding looks awesome w/ that upgrade quilted top especially the way it seemlessly morphs into the black. Almost like those swimming pools w/o the visable ledge.
