Before you buy your PA I would like to strongly recommend you try the new Bose PA at Guitar Center. The advantages, beside it's the best sounding system I have ever heard, are too numerous to mention here.
Good luck with your purchase.
We don't have any problems with ours - I mean, it's only a PA amp, and not a guitar amp, so I can't say I've thought much about it except to note that we have it... It's a Canadian company of long standing, and they certain get more respect than Radio Shack up here - I've got a Yorkville 2x12" closed cab loaded with Celestion G75-Ts that I've been using since the 80s, and it's still going strong - it's as tough as my Mesa cabs (except maybe the jack, which I replaced)... Anyway, the amp does the trick for us hauled around in a rack, and it's been reliable so far, but I wouldn't go and say "Oh ya, top recommendation for in-house sound.", although I do see on their website that they sell 70V amps dedicated to that purpose...pack-rat said:How are Yorkvilles ? My guitar place only sells Yorkville for live Sound reinforcement.
