I tried to use the Power Peg to change strings on my Emerald X20 yesterday. It was not helpful as the guitar is equipped with Gotoh 510 micro machine heads.
Can anyone suggest an insert/shim to make the Power Peg work with small machine heads?
The Power Peg is advertised as “universal” but it is not. I have a manual winder made by Planet Waves that is.
Perhaps Ernie Ball should include an adapter or change the shape of the gripping part of their tool, but I am hoping for a suggestion to make this tool work with these machine heads.
