Pre amp JP6

Hello,
I have a customer who cam in with a MM JP6 s# G30379.
Piezo system is constantly making an irritating noise. It is kind of sizzling just like a bad tube in an amp - it is very annoying and renders the system useless.
The system works other than that - except the contacts in the batt box need to get bend upward to create a good contact. That is not the cause of the problem though.
I suspect we need a new preamp.
What do you think and how to get a preamdp. I live in Denmark.

To get a new preamp you should contact Music Man customer service (see link in my signature below). Also try contacting the Ernie Ball Music Man distributor in Denmark. You may be able to order directly form them.
