Yeah, I emailed customer svc asking about that option when I saw it listed on the color options matrix. I was wondering exactly what "premium natural" was/meant & asked if they had an example photo on file; AJ explained it to me (pretty much exactly the same way he explained the option in his letter shown in this thread), and told me they had no photos on file, since they're made/ordered so infrequently. He said maybe 5 in the last 5 years. That's an average of .... hmmmm ... about 1 a year, I think, isn't it?

Anyway ... way cool.

woooooo Stingray 5s look so good natural. Seriously I had one Musicman when I joined the forum, now I have four with one on order. And now, not only do I have to get a trans teal something or other at some point, I have to get a premium natural SR5. I didn't even know it was an option.

My trans orange SR5 has a one piece body that looks so sweet. She's a heavy brute but i don't mind at all. I keep thinking my next Ray should be white as I love white basses but its so hard to not go for a finish that shows off the wood.
