Just a thought and few questions to those who like to comment, so don't flame me for commenting and asking. thank you:eek:

I ordered my 20th silo few weeks back. I got full option including piezo but without upgrade top. Here I am sitting and wondering if I should have ordered it with premium top. SHould I have gone and upgraded it?

Few people have told me that they try to use slightly nicer top on natural finsish due to it's visibility. I wonder if they do this with 20th?

I have seen the picuture samples of 20th on this forum and liked the quilted top better, but I just don't know if $500 upcharge is worth choosing my top. err,,,,,

btw, anyone recieved their 20th silo?

Fogman,
do you mean none of us here on the forum are getting theirs until AUgust or do you mean EBMM is not shipping all 20th out until AUgust.

Yes it is my friend!
And it's not cheap here in the great white north if you're considering the upgraded quilt!
I still want it though! :)

If you're ordering, then I'd go with the upgrade!
The only way I'd not, would be if I was to buy off the wall, and be able to see it!

So why is the build time taking much longer than first expected??? and why would ones with piezo take longer?

Best guess as to why the piezo is a little longer - they only have so many CNC machines to fabricate the bodies. So, I assume that they will push out the non-piezo versions first because there is/will be a larger volume of orders for those. Once the intial batch hits the street they'll change the production line to the piezo versions. Mine's a piezo so I get the joy of anticpating the delivery a little longer...

It's a new model, and I'm sure that going over every aspect of the full-production run and double-checking all the engineering takes some time. I'm more than content to wait because I know how wonderful this guitar will be.

Regarding the premium top - do what your wallet tells you to do :D

Wow, so those are the 20th Silo's I been hearing about. I may have to pick one of those up down the road as well. Very beautiful.

Greetings Pete! :)

Dave, you can get one in any color you want as long as that color is Caramel Burst.
Thank you for explaining it to me where I can understand Mr. Ford.
