Don't know if pricing questions are permitted, but here goes:

I've seen a nice 1991 Silhouette for sale here in the Netherlands (hardtail, sunburst, HSS, maple fretboard). Since there are not many MM from the early nineties for sale (in Europe), it is hard to compare prices. What would be a fair price for this guitar (dollars or euro)? Overall condition looks good, seems to have one fairly large ding at the bottom of the pickguard. Thanks!

Also, if anyone has some additional info on the guitar (specs) that is also welcome. Couldn't find them on the net..

For used guitars I believe the pricing is fine. I could be wrong.

Since the prices abroad are so different than domestic so I couldn't give you an honest figure. Maybe another overseas Knucklehead could give you a better price?

I saw a good condition Silo from 96 go on Craigslist for about $700. That's a domestic american guesstimate.

I know of a 96 Silhouette with hard shell case and changed pickups to SSS EMGs in a dark purple/rosewood for $550 where I used to take lessons. It's a 22 fret model.
Pete DuBaldo has a new (but old enough that it's marked used) hard tail 24 fret Silhouette in vintage burst for $900.
Those are the only examples I know of that you could buy right now, but you could also look on Guitar Center's used section. Most are in the $1000 range. Older Silos don't really bring "vintage" higher prices, if that's what you're asking.

European prices are much higher, though. I payed around 1150 € on Ebay for my 1996 Silo some years ago.

Yes Euro-prices are higher, but I have the feeling that some guitars, especially Silos go for less money these times. You can shoot a used silo for 700-800 € on ebay in Germany. In 2008 I bought a 1993 silo for ~735 € (and sold it for the same price again)...
Also some Morse went over lately for very fair prices (> JoeWeb´s). On the other hand many EBMM-guitars are offered with ridulous high prices.... So... a bit patience and luck is needed

$650-$800 for an older used one here in the states......if you can be patient and aren't too particular about what "colour" (special spelling for our European friends) you end up with.
