Hi
The problem is it goes out of tune.
I tracked it down to a combination of string bending and whammy usage.
For example. If I bend a the low E string (6th) and let go, the string goes flat. No problem, I retune.
Bend the string again, it's a all fine.
Now I do a small dip using the whammy bar and now the E string is sharp. Bend the low E string again and it goes back in tune.
If I tune the entire guitar using whammy bar dips for the final tuning, then I 'm ok until I bend a string. Whichever string I bend will go flat. I need to use the whammy bar again to make go in tune again.
I called Ernie Ball customer service and they want to send them the guitar.
I don't want to lose the guitar for weeks (I have a gig coming up)
I tried putting graphite lubricant (GHS white stuff) on the nut and that does not change anything.
I tried adding a spring on the whammy, again, no change.
It happens mainly on the 6th, 5th, 4th and 3th string with the worst being on the 6th string.
The only way I found to play it consistently is to give a whammy bar after every solo or ever bend so each string come back to pitch.
Anyone else have that problem?
Any ideas?
