problems with the bongo

I don't even own a P bass...haha I was just using it as an example. The point is...The Bongo shoudln't be causing havoc in your setup!

Andrew

thats exactly what i want it to do.

Anyway...

...this was a lot of fun.I'm gonna be in NYC next week with my ABBA tribute band and then it's hopefully off to China to gig for a week(fingers crossed).I took a pic at home of me with my very attractive buttercreme Bongo...excuse the sun glasses...I was very tired looking....nice shorts though!
So ,to review:
1:love the Bongo
2:Still think the front pickup is in a slightly awkward place.
3:still think it's a little hotter than needed.
4:...but, love the bass!!

Sir Funky

I was wondering why you appeared a little testy at times......It's that ABBA thing!
I would be a little testy if I had to play swedish music , too.....

Have fun in NYC and good luck in China...my friends say that the Jack Russell Terrier is better than the Collie. Tastes just like chicken.

Don't worry BP, got the joke, thought it'd be funny with a EEK after a joke like that :D
still gigling..

BTW, BP, I really like this forum, it's got a good attitude and positive tone to it.
+ it's very informative and produces great advice for us forumites and visitors :)

looking forward to them 2 pup EBMM's around the corner..

I always thought it would be great if Abba toured with Elvis Costello....That's right...Abba and Costello :D

are you sure the lawn fertilizer has been going into the lawn or is it being consumed elsewhere Heir Shrubmeister? :p

ps. I once did the"who's on first" sketch for a big USO themed New Years party.... can ya guess who I was??

I gotta tell ya...you don't know how challenging that ABBA stuff is untill you have to play some of it.Try playing the exact bass line to "dancing queen" some day. It's crazy improvised **** man.I come from a Jazz background with a minor in funk, when i got the call for this band I was reluctant....but it's some seriously difficult stuff to really nail .

I believe the piano riffs in that song are in the style of Rachmaninov. Definitely not your average disco-era stuff.
