Hi everyone,

I have a new JP6 on order (ordered February, ETA is August) with my dealer here in Europe. I am now wondering whether that ETA will hold. Have there been any statements by EBMM about whether the pandemic impacts their capacities? I know DiMarzio have shut down completely for a while.

Don't get me wrong - I'd fully understand and support any safety measures required to ensure the health of all involved at EBMM as well as their suppliers and dealers.

Cheers
Luke

I think all the US guitar manufacturers were closed for a while, so I’m sure there will have been some affect. Dunno how much tho. One thing is for sure, EBMM won’t sacrifice the quality just to get product out - which is reassuring for us all.

Just a quick update on that one - August has come, and passed, with no JP6 in sight unfortunately. It's been a little over 7 months now since I placed the order.

I messaged support to inquire about the status and they confirmed that orders will be delayed due to smaller teams in production (as a result of COVID-19). While I fully understand that - it's still a bummer; especially when I see lots of 2020 Majestys or the new Luke 3 models already arriving at dealers and customers - stuff that had been announced / open for orders long after I placed my order for a "standard" JP6...

I guess good things come to those who wait ;) ... just gonna soak up some more of that pre-NGD excitement.
