Has EBMM shared their production plans for the Stingray Short Scale? Will they continue releasing them through the year, or is it "once they're gone, they're gone"?

There's a Blood Orange one available, but I'm not crazy about the color - so I'd prefer to hold out for a color I like.

They seem to do runs at least once a year. I dont see any signs that they have been discontinued. The next run will surely be worth the wait. Keep a look out for a used one if you are after a specific finish. Great basses. Im hoping for a 5 string version to be introduced. There is a shortage of good 5 string short scales available. It's an untapped market that a lot of players would be glad to see happen.

Sweet! While I'll probably never have one, I know many people who are really happy to see a truly great short scale bass available. There are so few good options out there for a professional level short scale bass.

I missed the post by @DrKev in August but just noticed the release of 2025 short scales. I sure didn't need another bass - I'm not even a bass player, yet have a 4 & 5 string Stingray Special, along with a Bass VI - but I pulled the trigger on a Dazzler short scale while somewhat intoxicated last night. I had the morning after feeling of second guessing myself, but it seemed inevitable: a short scale bass will be in my future at some point, so why not now. TBH, my main interest is a 'couch bass' (which'll lead to me play bass more), and why not get a nice one.

I was a torn between Mystique and Dazzler; normally green would be my thing, but I don't like the black accents, and it's not in stock. The Dazzler white/pink is a little girly, but I think guys understand that's kinda cool. My EBMM gateway drug was the St. Vincent Turquoise sparkle, another girly color, which I 'bought for my 12 year old daughter'. Who knows, maybe she'll play the Dazzler short scale Stingray someday when I'm gone.

That Mystique is a very nice finish . Most people don’t realize that it color shifts between green to blue , depending on how the light hits it.

Dazzler is nice too.

Im not big on black hardware either , but it works well on that bass.
