Dave, it could be a little while - sorry to say your guitar will probably not be among the first made - :( But not to worry, it won't be too bad!

Norm, yours should be among the first to leave the factory! :D

I was told by the Production Coordinator just today that they anticipate Y2D bodies coming in from the sanding department this week and hope to cut workorders by the end of the week to start finishing (painting). That should mean that your guitar will be ready in about 4 weeks.

I'm thinking that almost all the Steve Morse Y2D's currently on order have names on them - I think this guitar is going to be very popular!

YES!!
No wonder you are the man. I bet that is not even your leg in you pants, you know what I'm saying.

Dude, that was the best thing I will hear all week. 7 smileys for you
1 :) 2 :) 3 :) 4 :) 5 :) 6 :) 7 :)

Any time you want to share with us how my guitar is doing you certainly have my permission to post. Pics are cool to. If it has to step back then that is understandable.
YOU ARE THE MAN!

Remember that all lefty Bongo’s come first! I noticed a small pile of left handed basswood right next to the CNC and seen on the computer screen this header…

PIEZO OPT=HAHAHAHAHA”

So as soon as you see me plaster the forum with, woo hooo, I got the CALL, pictures of my new ButterCream Lefty Bongo, pictures of me naked with my new Bongo, I wet my pants the first time I plugged it in threads, I’d be patient.

Dan, thanks for sharing this info, it's great to know that they are in production phase right now.

Do you have any idea how long it will take for them to ship to Europe? I don't think there will be a lot of orders for Belgium, so mine is amongst those. One thing I'm still thinking about though: a dealer over here in Belgium mentioned that the Y2D had only limited availability for Europe. I don't think this is true, but please enlighten me if you can.

Thanks, looking forward to playing my own Y2D,

cheers, Tom.

We really aren't at that point yet. We probably won't know that kind of detail for a couple of months.

:D

That's all great, but could we please skip the naked part?! :D

The lefty Bongos are in the sort of the same place as the Steve Morse Y2D's - they should start painting those bodies in the next week or so!
