OK I just got my SUB 1 body back from the carpenters shop, and while helping my daughter prep for a math test, I did all the wiring/soldering for the new config. Special thanks goes out to my electronics sensei, BEEJ! Beej sold me the completed pup guard pup config assembly so my work was minimal.
The first pics show the route, the next two show my shielding work (first time) and the last, the final product, I just need to string her up and play...Well aint she HOT?
Alls I have to say is when can I do another, I had so much friggin fun. Here are the pics:

Nice Job Razzer!

The white pearl pick guard goes nicely with the textured body!

I should just buy a Sub and have you mod it for me!
I think I'd be at least a few hundred dollars ahead!!

I just finished playing it...dang what a tonal difference...of course I'll have to create a whole new set of tone banks, but there is definately a thinning of tone occuring, more direct, compressed and to the point...me like, however I am tired and it's like a heat wave here so I'm sweatin...

raz,

Looks good. Is that a Sil Special pickguard? HSS is my favorite pickkup combo.

Al

Thanks!
Yup that's the very one...and it fit perfectly...for my next project I have decided to create a Steve Morse SUB, I just need to know if the pup guard is the same as the Silo Spec, which is the same as the SUB 1 :D

Hey Raz, I'm here to tell you it won't... I've let a few skilled players try out mine and no such luck, I still suck.
