Found this image when reading a zombie
thread in another bass forum [mea culpa].

Anywho, as a zombie thread it began back
when the Bongo was introduced. So it got
me to thinking ... "Early prototype ?"

Yes, but it wasn’t worth a crap so they redesigned it.
