Pretty sure they're screwed right to the body on those. However you may be able to shim them.

Hey

I'm pretty sure the pups are not meant to be adjusted! (on the SuperSport at least) They screw onto the body.

I remember Sterling saying (on a video on Youtube, when discussing the Morse signature guitar, which has non-adjustable pups aswell), that the output of those (morse)pups are designed for being "lower" than you'd see on other guitars.

I can only imagine that this is the case with the AS(S)pups aswell.

About the 1/16th inch, this is the action of the strings above the 12th fret, not the action of the strings above the pups!!!!!!

So I'm guessing that you don't need to setup the pupheights

As mentioned, the Axis p'ups are mounted to the body. If you want to raise them you'll need to make a shim. I'd use wood, but whatever holds them in place.

FYI, the Morse's p'ups are adjustable. They're screwed into the pickguard, not the body like the Axis.

That they weren't meant to be adjusted? I think it's just personal preference, really.

I had a HH Super Sport and the pickups were shimmed so they had more output. Have to say it sounded phenomenal. So I can definitely recommend it. But depends what kind of sound and output you're going for.
