Guys,
I just signed a record deal with grooveyard records for my second solo album with them, after " universal mojo " back in 2010.
It took me time to really appreciate this album that I've been working 25 years for, and I'm not ashamed to say that I needed time, YEARS, to PLAY, have FUN with my guitars and not recording demos every single day.
Then the pleasure to record came back, demos are validated, recording and releasing schedule are planned, now we're all about the tone.
The few of you that are nice enough to follow my work knows that I use two luke( HH and HSS ) witch is a super combination of possibilities....But some demos were made with a big strat tone that inspired the songs.
I would really like to use a cutlass to find that big fat vintage single coil neck tone again with the music man playability and the new bridge...but the budget for the album is done...!!! ( mostly prostitutes and drugs ^^ )
So I will TRY to find loan deal for the sessions ( there is not a lot of cutlass here in france ) , if I'm succesful I will use the guitar for upcoming dunlop videos AND headrush too ( we are in the process of puting a deal together as I worked with the same people for the eleven rack - yes, it's the same team ! )
Whatever...the new album is officially on its way
There will be a couple of demos first, then I will record two months and...that's it !
Cross your fingers for me guys
