HaHa,
Try standing at Sydney airport with the Wiggles crew when there are kids around!!
We always had to travel "in costume" as far as official Wiggles shirts, hats etc so we were pretty hard to miss.
This was taken during the "Wiggley Safari Tour" and funnily enough I was actually part of the Audio Visual crew for the Australian full tour of the show.
There is a segment where Captain Feathersword does an act where Anthony (Blue Wiggle) and him push the buttons on his magical coat and he has to sing in the style of.. Cher, ACDC, or whatever button is pushed.
During the tour both Anthony and Greg (yellow wiggle) had to miss the shows due to unforseen events - on different days - so Rob, the production manager who knew I was a Bass Player, asked if I wanted to fill in.
The buzz of standing on a concert stage (Entertainment Centre - Sydney and Brisbane) was awesome, especially when you look out and see 2000 kids going BERSERK!!!!! (oh, and I forgot to mention the 2000 18 to 30 year old mums in the crowd- NOT THAT I NOTICED!!!)
If you PM me your contact details I'll hunt around and see if I still have any crew momentos for your young one :)
Cheers Mark

I've taken the kids to a Wiggles concert or two.

For those who don't know (i.e. don't have kids..) the Wiggles are an Australian band that have a TV show for kids. They're like the Beatles of children's music. They tour a lot, too. In fact, I believe they are actually "The Wiggles Touring Company Ltd.".

Sometime within the last 3 or 4 years they were the top grossing music act in the whole world! That's when I told my wife I was playing the wrong genre.. ;)

I bleeb I have 4 Wiggles shows under my belt and Mo (the girl) has met Murray twice (who actually plays pretty good) - Beatlemania with 4 year olds is the correct description.

SteveB, you got the right idea... we are definately playing the wrong stuff (and Mark was right about all of the 18-30 year old moms... not that I noticed either ;) )

A mere 3 years ago, I would have had one mighty impressed youngster if I'd said, "I know a guy who plays with Wiggles."

Now, at six years old, well, he's all worldly and stuff.

My kid would only be impressed if I brought home a real-live Pikachu while driving Mater from the Cars movie.

The wife would be impressed if I also had that Val Kilmer guy in the passenger seat of the Mater holding the Pikachu.
