I put a set of group II flats on my ray last night. With foam under the bridge and rolling off the treble, I can get a perfect tone for some of my bands songs. When the strings lose some of the new string zing, it will sound even better. After we record our live cd, I'll post a few sound clips, some of the SR4 with flats, and some with the SR5 with rounds.

I just put a set on my 5 string pbass deluxe. Brought the thing to life!!! B string had to be top loaded, wouldn't fit in the hole for the string through, but man what a great feeling for a set of flat wounds. Seriously, don't feel like coat hangers as many of the other brands do.
