Ciao Bella! ;) (Italia, my neighbor Country)

I suggest with matching Headstock!
In combination with rosewood fretboard always looks better!

With maple fretboard both versions looks good to me, but with rosewood fretboard and without matching Headstock looks like "third" color!

Of course, that's my personal opinion!

I like matching on all finishes except black and maple.

Keko and Andi,

I was just in the Dalmatian Coast and the Adriatic last month! I visited Split, Neum, Trieste and Venice :)

Right now I am in Israel :)

I vote for without a matching headstock. White with rosewood and a natural headstock. Mmm mmm good. Bought one yesterday, in fact.

Greetings to You too! ;)

It looks like You have a gig on some Cruiser cruisin' on the Mediterranean sea! :D (Off Topic, sorry)

Anyway, I don't like much the design of Big Al (don't kill me now), but this white one from above looks pretty nice!

I thin it both will look great. If it has to be white i would go for an abalone pickguard. There was a whole series sent to germany with a tort guard so yours will look a bit special.

Post your pictures to the buddies collective when you have it....

That paint scheme pictured above on the Big Al (white) would absolutely rock on a Bongo, anybody else feeling that? After all, the rosewood necked Bongos set a precedent by having an unfinished back of neck area so why not? Maybe on a future BFR Bongo with some birdseye or something else showing.

Non-matching. Will look better in the long run when it aquires dings.

Matching! Like "everyone" else says, it looks better with rosewood. If you're afraid of dings, why paint the body?

I'm feeling it!
Here are two possibilities I could live with
- White Bongo with all rosewood neck
- White Bongo with ebony fretboard!
I think that would kick ass.

PS I would go matching headstock with rosewood neck and non-matching with maple neck - just looks right to my eye that way
