Quality difference with the PDNs?

Sorry if it sounds like a silly question! Let me elaborate...

While I've sold many Music-Mans, I've NEVER been disappointed by one. They've all been lightweight, resonant, and superb instruments.

That being out of the way; are PDNs meant to be 'better'? Is the wood selection even more stringent towards quality pieces?
I got a quote on an AL HH and I am this close to pulling the trigger But I do want to know what to expect: another AL HH, or a special AL HH!

Besides specs , all PDN guitars are limited runs , so you you'll own a unique piece of gear instantly.
Plus , SS frets , ebony fretboard and roasted maple neck - what else you could ask for ???
If I'm allowed to order ( no PDN for my country unfortunately ... ) I'll pick another Luke .

I feel your pain man... I moved to the US less than a year ago from LUXEMBOURG. No PDNs there either

My first AL was a red HH/trem/rosewood neck.

I sold it to buy an AL HH PDN 2012. I have never felt that it is better or worse.

To me, quality is just the same!

To answer the second part of your question : if you buy this PDN you'll get something "special".Think : SS frets, roasted neck, ebony...(I've ordered yet "another "one).
