So I’m really gassing for a Mystic Dream Petrucci and I really want one without a piezo, but a lot of what I am finding has the piezo pickup.

If I end up getting that one, does it have two jacks? One for the electric signal and one for the acoustic? Or can they both be accessed by one jack?

Anything else I should know about them?

Yes, yes, and yes. :D

One jack is mono and will do a mix of electric and piezo, use the volume knobs on the guitar to control.
One jack will also do stereo - electric on one side and piezo on the other, use a splitter box to send the signals to separate amps.
If both jacks are used, you get electric from one and piezo from the other.

It has two jack. You never have to use the piezo pickup if you don't want too. It is very rare to see a JP with out a piezo. Most stores order them with piezo so if you find a used one with no piezo it was a special order probably. I am not sure if this is still the case but you used to be able to order the JP6 without matching head stock no JP inlay and no piezo

JP's without piezo are not rare in the least. However Mystic dream is an expensive paint option and typically most MD guitars are ordered loaded for that reason. Most people tend to want all the options when paying up for the MD finish. If you keep your eye out I'm sure there are some out there. Heck I had a rosewood neck model that was ordered without piezo. So there are some people that just don't want the piezo. Personally it's a must for me when buying a JP. Really no drawback to having it at all. If the one I had with rosewood neck had a piezo I would certainly still have it.

It's not my decision but
a) there are more than enough stickies, adding more won't be useful.
b) most people ignore the stickies as it is (like forum rules, no comments in the F/S thread etc.), and
c) all the other questions that get asked every week will be jealous and want their own sticky too!

I looked it up on the Music Man website (look for the wiring and schematics on each guitar's page) which seems logical place to put it, or in the FAQs.

Don't worry. I've just modified my axis super sport piezo to select either the magnetics or the piezo to the mono outputjack. It's not a big deal and also easy to withdraw. In this configuration it's not possible to mix both of the signals but it's the one and only easy way to use a wireless system.
Does someone have the circuit diagramm of the piezo board?
King regards

Just a side note if you get a JP with a piezo pickup in it: If you plan on using 1 cable for both electric and acoustic, you will need a stereo cable. A standard 1/4 will only get you the electric side of the guitar. Mine is an angled TRS end and then splits in the middle of the cable to 2. One goes to the amp and the other to the direct box or processor for the acoustic side. Just in case you didn't know.
