I would like to order a bongo 4 string with the nut set up for BEAD tuning. What I mean by set up is slotted for the bigger strings obviously and also have the compensated nut set up for this tuning, like the 5 string bongo.

Would Musicman do something like this for me? Would the cost be outrageous? Or is it even necessary and should I just buy a regular 4 string and widen the nut slots myself?

I guess I figured the B string might intonate better if the compensated nut is like the lower 4 strings of the 5 string bongo, especially since I'll be using the B string pretty high up the neck and would like it to intonate very well.

Opinions? Please dont tell me to buy a 5 string. I played 5 for many years but just recently had to come to terms that I like the feel of a 4 so much more and would rather just have 2 basses, one EADG and the other BEAD.

Thanks for any help!
