Question about the Dargie BFR + My first ball

Hello Ernie Ball forum, this is my first post here (as I'm sure you can tell) but I've been quite a stalker of the BFR picture thread for some time now haha . Anyway, just ordered my first ball today, played a JP6 the other day in guitar center and felt heaven in my hands. Selling my Ibanez Jem20th and ESP SC608-B to pay for this one because these guitars are just that amazing, here's (soon to be) mine...

Anyway, my question is, because this is a BFR, does that imply that this guitar indeed does have the mahogany neck/tone block and alder body? Because that's what I paid the extra for haha otherwise I could have bought a regular jp7 dargie I suppose. Haven't been able to find specs on this beast anywhere though. Thanks so much.

Yes, that guitar has an alder body, mahogany tone block, maple top, and mahogany neck. Nice score!

Didn't really talk too much to him over the phone but he seemed like a nice guy lol. I was pretty ready to buy it once I saw they had a dargie BFR 7 so didn't need too much help.

Lol fear not pics will come, and you're probably right I most likely will get addicted haha. Being a starving student at Berklee next semester is gonna mean no new guitars for a while though , so this one is prolly going to be my baby up there.
