Its true, my first ball was a Burnt Apple Luke, I loved that axe, but unfortunatley a shoddy repair man used steel wool to clean the rosewood fingerboard, and ruined it good and proper, he got fired the next week.

I was most pissed, to say the least, it was the best neck ive played, hardly any V at all, nice and round. My BFR Luke definitely has the V, but not as pronounced as others Ive played, love that Luke neck!

I mean, if your want a Rosewood Luke, cool.
But don't sell one of your ALs.
I looooooove the way rosewood neck feels, but I've never been able to acclimate to the sound difference that comes with the feel.
To me, the solid rosewood kind steals a hint of the sweetness (to my ears).

Ive got enough AL's, one can leave the flock, unfortunately I have no choice due to the recent price increases here. I do love my rosewood MM90 ASS, a Luke would be sweet.
