Hey BP, I met you at the factory in SLO in Jan. 2000. I was there with Richard (Fancy Music) and it was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had! Richard and I even had lunch with Dudley. You were giving a speech at Cal Poly Tech so you were not able to join us. The trip was a stop on my honeymoon with my wife on our way up to San Fran. from L.A. (you even joked with my wife that we could take your Boxter up to San Fran!) Anyway, I sadly can't make the open house but I was wondering if any photos of the EVH's you mentioned that will be on display could be posted here? That would be great, as I am sure that a few other EB nuts that can't make it would love to see those. THANKS AGAIN FOR MAKING THE BEST GUITARS AND BASSES ON THE PLANET! JIM. :D

Had that request in another thread, let´s hope.
I had a chance 1994 to visit the factory (wow 11 years ago and I still look great:)), this was very nice and I saw pics of Eddie holding unfinished EVHs and trying them out.
They would be great too if it´s possible to see them again.
I hope BP doesn´t hate the guy so much (EVH for leaving EBMM) so we can see them

This would some of us make really happy

I don't think BP hates him at all, where did you get that from?

Well I don´t meant it to hard<- hate is toooo much, but a split is never a very amicable thing, don´t you think???

Just chose the wrong word, excuse me. I personally would like to see them together at the open house, nothing more than that.

I hope they get along well, but this is private and noones issue than theirs.
So next time I´ll choose the words better.

Volkswagen!

I have no problem with showing protos and pix at the open house.

I also think that everyone should stop the bs with evh and eb. Once again he left charvel he left jackson he left kramer he left me and he left peavey.........He left david lee roth he left sammy hagar he left cherone he left david lee roth he left sammy......I actually think that Eddie is a sad story. I also think that our guitars still get played.....I heard from many many people that all through the peavey days Goldie was in 5150 and being played...

Thats awesome. I knew that there was no way he could just abandon all of those great EB guitars! Thanks in advance for letting us see photos of the EVH one offs and prototypes. I will be glued to this forum (AS USUAL) after the open house to see the photos. Any funny or interesting stories about the development of that guitar or requests from the man to customize the EBMM EVH? I hear that there were a few lefties made for Paul McCartney and John McEnroe? Is that true? THANKS AGAIN, BP! YOU ROCK!

Elaine Verhooven Hinklestein, I believe.

Of course, I also believe that old Jewish men are trying to break into my house to shampoo me.

i dont think he was saying you were starting it. that bs has been swirling around for years .ed seems to jump ship alot these days and i think it has a lot more to do with the heinekens then anything else. for the last ten years he has been selling more gear than records so when a better deal comes along he goes with it. thats fine its his name and its just business but he didnt leave ebmm because he got a better guitar.

Not breaking in. Appraising.
Yeah I think your right. And besides, if you are having something appraised you will want it to be clean. That explains the shampoo.
Wash rinse and repeat baby.
