In your opinion do these pickups look like the stock pickups for a May 2001 Silo Spec? Looks almost like an ASS pickup.

Sarah's humbucker looks different.

Of course, I don't know how old hers is, though.

I guess the question then becomes, "Do I have the old one? Or did the previous owner(s) replace the bridge pickup?"

Yeah. I was looking through them, but I couldn't really find an answer. Maybe, I'll try some different search terms.

i can tell the bridge hummer is not a stock ebmm made by dimarzio.
and the single coils look like they have a flat magnet stagger....which if is the case.....they would be aftermarket also....

You know, I just read that Sarah has a Breed humbucker in that guitar. So, hers is definitely NOT stock. Mine? Well, Tommy doesn't think so, but I've just seen some pictures in which the pickups look like mine. So, I don't know. Even if I take the pickguard off, I wouldn't know how to identify the stock pickups.

my stock single coils didnt have staggering pole pieces either, so they might be stock, the bucker looks suspect though -

Yeah. I put the bridge back where it's supposed to be. At least, I think I got it where it should be. Anyway, I'll PM you what he said, but I don't have the time right now. PM me to remind me.

Both of mine are stock Virtual PAF (the newer ones), and the top one looks zactly like your photos. Not sure what Tommy sees that I'm missing, but the bucker looks like a Virtual PAF from here. Maybe he was referring to the second one. Can't tell much from looking at the single coils.

The older PAF Pro doesn't have the adjustable screw heads, as with the second one. They're still used in the regular Silo, I think.

Thanks, Bruce. I was hoping mine was stock, because if it is, I know to expect pretty much the same stuff out of the next Silo Spec.:D
