i meant flat w/ the top of the pickup cover.....like some duncans and lollars.

i thought all the early buckers had allen wrench adjustable pole pieces on both coils. i been wrong before though.
i wouldn't bet my life or anything....but i don't think they are stock.
the pole pieces look different to me.
:)

my stock single coils didnt have staggering pole pieces either, so they might be stock, the bucker looks suspect though -

Tommy, the DiMarzio site shows no allen wrench adjustable poles on the PAF Pro. They have the same dimpled tops as the bottom picture. Perhaps the dimples look to be allen wrench adjustable? I don't think they are, though.

My guess, based on just appearances, is that the top image shows a Virtual PAF, while the bottom image shows a PAF Pro.

Oops, that's right, Sarah's (lower image) is a Breed, I guess.

Rob, I think you can relax with your gold silo special as having the newer stock pickups.

Fwiw, according to the DiMarizio site, the Virtual PAF is a bit stronger in the mids and bass than the older PAF Pro, which has slighter brighter highs.
